Nehemiah 8:2-4a, 5-6, 8-10  Today is holy because it is the day in which God's word is proclaimed to all who listen.

Psalm 19:8, 9, 10, 15  The law of God makes the right way clear, truth trustworthy, and wisdom available to all.

1 Corinthians 12:12-30 or 12:12-14, 27  We discover our purpose not in isolation but in conjunction with the body of Christ.

Luke 1:1-4; 4:14-21  Jesus is the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning the anointed liberator to come.
