Acts of the Apostles 10:34a, 37-43  Peter testifies that Jesus came with healing and was met with rejection and violence.

Psalm 118:1-2, 16-17, 22-23  The stone rejected as unworthy becomes the vital cornerstone.

Colossians 3:1-4 or 1 Corinthians 5:6b-8  We celebrate this feast with hearts cleared of malice and open to the truth.
