Brothers and sisters, let us acknowledge our sins, and so prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.

Prayer of the Faithful

The universal prayer

In prayer we ask for help to walk in God’s ways:

• For a spirit of wisdom, love, and patience in the church, we pray, Lord, hear our prayer.
• For peace and mutual respect in families, we pray, Lord, hear our prayer.
• For those who are in poor health, we pray, Lord, hear our prayer.
• For a willingness to forgive, as we are forgiven, we pray, Lord, hear our prayer.
