Christ is wholeness and life for the world. Christ is one. Seek the Lord and share in the wholeness of life. Have you ever felt empty, afraid, or alone? Overwhelmed with life? Jesus establishes one body, one blood for you to encounter.

“Lo, the angel’s food is given!” So we sing in today’s special sequence. On this feast of Christ’s Body and Blood, we recapture the wonder of what has become commonplace for so many of us: the reality that the Kingdom banquet is set before us, and we’re invited to come forward to this table.

“I am the Bread—living Bread!—who came down out of heaven. Anyone who eats this Bread will live—and forever! The Bread that I present to the world so that it can eat and live is myself, this flesh-and-blood self.”
