Leviticus 19:1-2, 17-18  Take no revenge and harbor no grudge. Do this in imitation of God’s holiness.

Psalm 103:1-2, 3-4, 8, 10, 12-13 (8a)  God rights a world of wrong by means of pardon and healing.

1 Corinthians 3:16-23  God’s holy spirit lives in us as in a temple, and makes of us holy vessels.

Matthew 5:38-48  Jesus teaches a new law of retaliation that returns good for every evil.
