Wisdom 2:12, 17-20 The wicked taunt the just one with words of prophecy in which they place no trust.

Psalm 54:3-4, 5, 6-8 Though the fierce and the arrogant seek my life, God will sustain me.

James 3:16-4:3 Wisdom moves against the current of conflict and opposition, for it is the way of peace.

Mark 9:30-37 The most important is the one deemed unimportant and who seeks no esteem.
