Exodus 3:1-8a, 13-15  God reveals to Moses the divine name and the plan for saving the nation.

Psalm 103:1-2, 3-4, 6-7, 8, 11  The rights of the oppressed are secure in God's justice.

1 Corinthians 10:1-6, 10-12  The Israelites' crossing of the Red Sea is envisioned as a pre-baptismal rite.

Luke 13:1-9  Salvation is offered to all—but few will accept the offer and merit the reward.
