Genesis 22:1-2, 9a, 10-13, 15-18  Abraham is willing to obey God at the cost of his beloved son.

Psalm 116:10, 15, 16-17, 18-19  We are merely the servants of God, and yet precious in God’s eyes.

Romans 8:31b-34  God is for us, and Jesus intercedes for us. Whom should we fear?

Mark 9:2-10  Jesus is revealed as the beloved Son to terrified disciples.
