SUNDAY SUMMARY

The painful effect of opioid overuse

“This illness is not to end in death, but is for the glory of God,” Jesus says of Lazarus’ illness in this Sunday’s gospel. Sadly, the scourge of opioid addiction is ending an increasing number of lives in misery and death rather than glory.
