Appropriate to this Sunday’s Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, the gospel relates how Jesus fed the hungry multitude, turning scarcity into plentitude in the process. Worldwide, the hungry multitude grow daily, with some 125 million people urgently needing humanitarian assistance.
