Breakfast is abundant but don't overeat | Quote of the week | Fact of the week
The Easter season is all about abundance, and this Sunday exemplifies that with the story of the risen Christ guiding his fishermen-followers to an ample haul of fish, so ample they have trouble hauling in their nets. “Come, have breakfast,” he then says to them, in a reminder that abundance and nourishment is to be shared.
The amount of food lost and wasted every year is equal to more than half of the world’s annual cereal crops (2.3 billion tons in 2009/10).
