We turn to God who forgives our sins.
In hope of God's grace and mercy, we stand before the Lord.
We ask the living God to show us mercy for the wrongs we have done.
My friends in Christ, God has given the great gift of God's Son in the Eucharist. For when we have turned away from the presence of God in the world and one another, we pray for forgiveness.
The love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Spirit. To share that love with others, we pray.
On this great feast of Pentecost we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray to be filled with that Spirit.
Jesus asks us to come forward and accept the gift of life-giving water. We pray for the grace to accept that invitation.
The Lord gives us his peace. Let us pray for the strength to trust God in all things.
Sisters and brothers, our love for one another shows we are disciples of Jesus. For the times we have failed to love God and others, we pray for God’s mercy and forgiveness.
The divine Shepherd knows us. We hear his voice and we follow him. He protects us from all evil and opens a way for us that we might come to fulfillment. Let us pray that we always have the courage to follow the shepherd.
