Let us ask God for a spirit of forgiveness.

Like you, O Lord, your first martyr Saint Stephen called on God to forgive his persecutors. Today we pray for that same forgiveness.

As our celebration of the Lord’s Resurrection continues in this Easter season, we turn to God with faith in God’s mercy.

Our God asks us to love one another. For when we have not loved, we now ask for God’s forgiveness

As our Easter celebration of new life continues, we look to God’s mercy and ask for God’s pardon.

Lord, On this day the Lord has made, we ask for the forgiveness of sins Christ promises us through him.

As we begin the remembrance of our Lord’s Passion, we call to mind the sins from which he saves us.

On this last Sunday before the season of Lent begins, we ask God to prepare our hearts.
