Exodus 24:3-8 Moses seals the covenant between God and the nation with the sign of blood.

Psalm 116:12-13, 15-16, 17-18 We take up the cup of our salvation and call on the name of the Lord.

Hebrews 9:11-15 If the blood of ancient sacrifices could sanctify, how much more the mediation of Christ!

Mark 14:12-16, 22-26 “Take it,” Jesus says, offering the blood of the covenant shed for many.
