The Lord never forgets; the Lord is our rock and our salvation; the Lord is our refuge, our judge, our light, our master, the provider of all things.

Mothers understand all about being faithful servants as they attentively serve the many needs of their young ones. And while children may, per the gospel's counsel, be free of concern about where their next meal is coming from or what they will wear tomorrow, it is only because their mothers and fathers have taken care of those details.

These three words could save your soul and mine a lot of heartache: Seek the Kingdom. Tomorrow’s in God’s hands. So is yesterday. What needs to be forgiven is already forgiven. What needs to be healed will be healed. All that belongs to us is today. All we have to do today is seek the Kingdom.

Real solitude is not about one's physical relationship with others. Rather it has to do with one's interior relationship with God and the freedom to serve others, and that freedom comes from trust.

How to seek the kingdom of God? It is a state of being, so we begin with the intention to be the highest expression of ourselves, in all our imperfection. When we narrow our efforts to seeking only the Kingdom, then Maslow's pyramid is turned upside down.

My sisters and brothers, God's love for us never fails. We pray for the mercy and forgiveness for when we have failed to love.

Seek first the kingdom of God. That is what disciples need to do. The rest, as Jesus says, will take care of itself.

The soul can split the sky in two, and let the face of God shine through.
