Acts of the Apostles 2:1-11 The gift of tongues is necessary for placid disciples to become fearless evangelists.

Psalm 104:1, 24, 29-30, 31, 34 Without God, the breath of life vanishes. With God, creation itself is renewed.

1 Corinthians 12:3b-7, 12-13 or Galatians 5:16-25 The fruit of sin is rotten, while the fruit of the Spirit is wholesome.

John 20:19-23 or 15:26-27; 16:12-15 The breath of life from Jesus renews the disciples’ hearts.
