Acts of the Apostles 2:1-11  The Spirit arrives in driving wind and dancing flame to alight on the new church.

Psalm 104:1, 24, 29-30, 31, 34  The Spirit of God created the world and continues to renew it with the breath of life.

1 Corinthians 12:3b-7, 12-13  No matter who we were before, we are baptized into one body in Christ.

John 20:19-23  Jesus imparts to the church the breath of the Spirit and the power to forgive.
