Wisdom 18:6-9  The faithful will know the glory of God and the rescue of the just.

Psalm 33:1, 12, 18-19, 20-22  God’s kindness is revealed to those who live in hope.

Hebrews 11:1-2, 8-19 or 11:1-2, 8-12  Faith can achieve our hopes on the proportion of the miraculous.

Luke 12:32-48 or 12:35-40  Vigilance is expected from those who wait on the Lord.
