1 Peter 2:20b-25  Like sheep, many are scattered and in chaos. Jesus alone is the guardian of souls.

John 10:1-10  Jesus opens the gate for his sheep, and his voice is not strange to us.

“I came so that they might have life and have it more abundantly,” Jesus affirms in this Sunday’s gospel. African Americans have experienced a bit more of that abundance in recent years.
