Don’t let Zika apathy infect you

As we celebrate Holy Trinity Sunday, we are given hope in the second reading that our affliction will lead to a happy ending, a positive outcome: “affliction produces endurance, and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and hope does not disappoint.” When it comes to the Zika virus afflicting a widening net of countries, the hope is that the virus can be contained and an effective vaccination and treatment can be developed.
