My sisters and brothers, as we present our needs to God, we listen in hope and anticipation for the voice of the Lord, who hears every prayer.
On our Lord Jesus Christ God’s favor rests. In faith and praise we offer our intercessions and respond, Glory to God!
The Magi brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Let us bring our prayers like gifts before the newborn king.
We are encouraged to do everything in the name of the Lord. In this hopeful spirit we bring our prayers before God, who loves us with a parent’s love.
Eternal God, your goodness endures through all generations, and nothing is impossible with you.
Those who are anointed by God are sent to proclaim Good News to the poor. May we be heralds of good news to an ailing world.
As we journey through this season of Advent, in hope we bring our prayers before our God, who comes to us in the wildernesses and deserts of our lives.
As we begin the season of Advent, we pray for a deeper appreciation of Christ coming into the world.
As we end another year of grace, we turn in prayer to Christ, who reigns in our hearts and minds.
Sisters and brothers, as a people of the light, let us ask for the strength and courage to persevere as God’s good and faithful servants.
