The risen Lord appeared to his disciples at the lake to encourage their faith. Pray with me that the Lord strengthen us spiritually so that we may follow him with thanksgiving and love.
Our Lord breathed the Holy Spirit on us for the forgiveness of sins. Let us pray together for the faith we need to forgive as we are forgiven.
Christ is risen! The tomb of judgment and condemnation is empty. Sins are forgiven and all humanity is invited to the table of eternal life. Pray with me for the faith we need to live a new life.
Christ suffered and died for all people so that we could be reconciled into one human family of God. Pray for hearts open to recognize the sacred dignity of all human life.
Behold, God is doing something new. As this season of Lent nears its fulfillment, we call upon our loving God to renew our hearts and minds and hear these prayers we make.
Our God welcomes us back from our wanderings to the table of the eternal banquet. In hope and trust let us present our needs to God.
Our God is a living God, remembered throughout the ages. With faith in God’s love for us, we offer these our prayers.
The Lord is our light and our salvation. As we continue our Lenten pilgrimage, we turn, like Abraham, to our God who protects us and responds to our needs.
We are a people on a journey, being led by God out of deserts and wastelands toward abundant life. Let us acknowledge our needs and place them before our God who hears our cry.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus showed that our blessings flow not from our achievements but from our needs. As we prepare to bring our gifts to the altar, we acknowledge our reliance on the God who satisfies every need.
