In a spirit of repentance for our sins, we place ourselves in the hands of our merciful God.
My sisters and brothers, the walk of faith can be a difficult one. Let us ask forgiveness for the times we have stumbled or lost heart.
In prayer we call upon God to strengthen us in our following of the way of Jesus.
Let us ask for God’s mercy and pray to God to make us better disciples.
That we may grow in holiness, we ask God for forgiveness.
Gathered as the family of God, let us ask for God's mercy and healing.
It is only through Jesus that we know God. We ask forgiveness for the times we have not heeded the Lord’s teaching and followed him.
With faith in God’s salvation, we ask for mercy.
Like the crowds who followed Jesus, we seek him and ask him for forgiveness and healing.
Brought together by Christ our good shepherd, let us ask the Lord for pardon and guidance.
