The alleged explanation given by Steven Conard, 39, grounds superintendent of Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum in Allouez, Wisconsin, when charged Monday with theft of a Fender Telecaster guitar from the casket of a man who had requested burial with his favorite instrument.
