Isaiah 22:19-23  Authority comes from God, who distributes it according to the divine will.

Psalm 138:1-2, 2-3, 6, 8 (8bc)  God’s love has no end. God’s kindness remains the hope of those who trust.

Romans 11:33-36  We may keep trying to pierce the mystery of God. Praising God is better.

Matthew 16:13-20  The identity of Jesus is not a game of multiple choice. It’s a matter of trust.
