Job 38:1, 8-11  God alone has the power to control the waters of chaos.

Psalm 107:23-24, 25-26, 28-29, 30-31  Sailors put their trust in God who calms the sea and brings them home safely.

2 Corinthians 5:14-17  The old things have passed away, and we are a new creation in Christ.

Mark 4:35-41  In the midst of a violent squall, Jesus stills the sea with his command.
