The justice of God is above our ways. We appeal to that justice to bring us closer to God in Christ.
To be forgiven, we must forgive. We turn to God for the forgiveness we are to show to others.
Our God is always ready to forgive us. Let us turn to God for that forgiveness.
We pray for the strength not to grow weary in our faith.
The Lord does not forsake the work of his hands. Let us place ourselves in those hands.
We pray for the God's mercy for our sins.
Saving Lord, truly you are the Son of God. Reach out to us your merciful hand.
We are called to the table of God's love and forgiveness.
We know that all things work for good for those who love God, scripture tells us today. We ask for the gift of that love so that all things in our lives will work together for the good.
We turn to our God who is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in kindness and faithfulness to us.
